Because, 30 minutes before dinner is done, you can decide to make it! :) I tried the recipe from The Joy of Cooking book, and it is my new favorite. :)

Our daily bread

January 15, 2008

These are the French rolls from the January 2008 edition of Martha Stewart’s Living. I used 1/2 white whole wheat flour instead of all white, so they are a tad darker. I love bread making, so if you come here often enough, you will see more bread. This recipe produced French rolls that seem pretty authentic. More so than other recipes I have tried. I will have to take a picture of them when I use the white flour, cause they come out looking very French. :) The recipe was different from other French bread recipes I have encountered, especially the consistency/feel of the dough(what was a sticky mess really did knead into a smooth formidable dough to my suprise!).

I have been trying to learn how to pray the Divine Office for a while. This book is so so so helpful. This truly is the BEST one that I have seen! The bookmarks are ingenius-order them with it! Now, sure, there is the guide, but it does not teach you the stuff that it assumes you know(like when you say the glory be, etc.). With this book, I am actually doing it right. Now, if I can just steal more time to actually DO IT. Okay, not an excuse, I know. Just had to share!!! I am tickled that I found this, and I cannot believe that it is not reccomended more! Anyone having trouble with the Divine Office, check this book out!!! ) You can find ordering info here: http://penitents.org/giftshopdodos.html

Joey set up an elaborate war. Paul wanted in on it. He set up Paul’s side. It was a lovely war.
